Triumph Chrome Moly steel pushrods 650 / 750
STRENGTH AND LIGHT WEIGHT
Steel pushrods don't have to be heavy!
These USA made Chrome Moly steel push rods are assembled with hardened steel ends that are held to exacting radius and surface finish tolerances. They are identical to Kibblewhite's popular alloy tube racing pushrods, only using ChroMoly tubing.
After assembly, the OD of the entire push rod is precision ground to create the strongest pushrod available. Weighing only 34.1 grams each (650), this is an excellent way to stiffen up your valvetrain without any compromise in strength, and ensure valve timing accuracy.
Supplied in sets of four. Laser engraved with KPMI and part number.
With all 650 and 750 engines, gaskets must be trimmed so no rubbing occurs. The larger diameter may not fit some early pre unit external drain pushrod tubes in rare cases. The outside diameter is .371"or 9.42mm, and effective length is 6.000" (cup to cup) for 650, and 5.625" for 750. That is 152mm for 650 models, and 143mm for 750 models.
The 650 pushrods replace Triumph part number 70-2620
The 750 pushrods replace Triumph part number 71-3330
For weight comparison, OEM Triumph 650 aluminum pushrods were 24.6g. Kibblewhite aluminum pushrods 17.4g, and these Chrome Moly are 34.1g. Most engine builders will agree that pushrod weight is not as critical as it's strength.
